Panel Products

Akarana stocks a wide range of plywood, fibre cement board, MDF and RAB Board. Panel products are typically available in sheet or plank form and can be composed of solid wood, engineered wood boards or wood alternatives. Timber panels can be used for a range of different purposes, both practical and decorative. Fibre cement boards have many applications including cladding, backing board for stone or shist and internal linings. MDF available in grooved or plain is perfect for forming shaped components with outstanding strength, often used in door skins, cabinetry and furniture etc. Pre-cladding RAB board and OSB provide a robust rigid wall underlay which can also be used as a temporary weather cladding and also bracing.
