Flooring Substrates

Plyfloor – As well as being designed for use as a flooring substrate, Plyfloor has also been designed as an ideal substrate under roofing or decking rubber membranes. Being certified to AS/NZS 2269 to a strength grade of F11 gives the assurance of structural integrity along with the knowledge that this is a product designed for use in New Zealand. PlyFloor is a certified “A” bond using an exterior phenol-formaldehyde resin,  mission class E0, complying with other international Low Formaldehyde Emission (LFE) requirements like JAS Super-E0. A plastic tongue and groove runs along the length of the sheets and makes it easy when flooring directly over joists.

• Strandfloor – For the environmentally conscious, Strandfloor has been listed as having no Living Building Challenge Red-List ingredients in it’s product. With four different product options available all 20 mm thick, there is something for every flooring substrate application.

• Eurofloor – EUROFloor is specifically designed for the New Zealand market with the strength and durability of an engineered flooring panel. It consists of three layers of wood strands orientated at right angles to the adjacent layer and bonded together with heat-cured adhesives creating a strong, dimensionally stable panel that resists delamination and warping. EUROfloor comes in 3600mm or 2400mm x 1200mm x 20 mm thick sizes and can also be used for other various applications such as stair construction, shelving, cabinet and furniture along with being a reliable flooring substrate.
